5.1.1 Installation with a 3-point belt
1. Connect the seat to the group 0 base by inserting
it into the holes on the top of the child seat base
(fig. 1)
2. Recline the seat fully. Pull the seat recline lever
upwards (
12 ). Recline the seat while keeping hold
of the lever. Release the lever when the seat is in
the desired position (fig. 2 and fig. 3).
3. Place the child seat in the rear of the vehicle, facing
away from the direction of travel (fig. 4).
4. Take the car seatbelt and pass it through the child
seat as shown in (fig. 5).
5. Insert the seatbelt connector into the car buckle
and press until you hear a “click” (fig. 6). Make sure
that the straps are flat and not twisted.
6. Remove any slack that remains after installing the
3-point belt by pulling on the diagonal strap. Try
to ensure that it is fitted as closely to the child
seat as possible (fig. 7).
