Moonboon hammock motor

- Mount the hammock motor only in original hanging

devices. Check that the snap hooks are properly locked

every time you use the motor.

- Always use the plastic parts supplied with the hammock

motor.

- The Moonboon hammock motor is designed to work

with the Moonboon hammock and the associated parts.

If you are using a door frame clamp or a tripod stand

from a different provider, there is no guarantee that the

motor can be mounted securely or will function properly.

- If your hammock motor is suspended in a strap/chain,

the length of the strap/chain must not exceed 6 inches /

15 cm above the motor if the baby using the hammock

weighs less than 17.6 lbs / 8 kg. If the baby weighs more

than 17.6 lbs / 8 kg, you may use a strap/chain above

the motor that is 20 inches / 50 cm long.

- If you are using the Moonboon spring, the child using

the hammock must weigh at least 9 lbs / 4 kg and at

most 33 lbs / 15 kg. If you are using a spring from a

different provider, baby may need to weigh at least 13

lbs / 6 kg.

- Be sure that the hammock never touches the floor when

in operation. Read the section on

HEIGHT

- We recommend that you always stay in the vicinity of

the hammock with motor when baby is in it. This applies

during the day and during the night. Be sure that the

hammock never touches the floor when in operation.

Refer to the section on

HEIGHT

.

- You may stop the motor at any time by grasping the

hammock. The motor will then stop. The motor light will

come on red, and you must restart the motor.

- When your child is old enough to be able to sit up or

crawl out of the hammock, you must no longer let the

child be in the hammock without supervision.

- The hammock motor is never to be used as a toy. Never

push the hammock or the motor while a child is in the

hammock.

- If there is obvious damage or wear to the hammock or

the motor, please do not use the hammock motor until

remedial action has been taken.

- The hammock motor may only be used indoors at tem-

peratures between 32 and 113 degrees F / 0 and 45

degrees C and at a humidity of 0-80%.

- The hammock motor is not approved for use in wet or

humid areas, in bathrooms, or near water.

- The hammock motor is not approved for use in countries

without an AC power network operating at 100-240

Vrms AC.

- The hammock motor is not approved for use if it is con-

nected to a direct current power source without safety

standard certification.

- In the event the motor is connected to an incompatible

direct current power source, it will not start, and the light

will blink green and red.

Safety Checklist

Carefully read the safety checklist below. When you have checked the list and verified that everything is as described,

you may begin using the hammock motor. Enjoy!

Make sure to check regularly that

the motor and the mounting meet

all safety requirements.
