Intended Use
Using this solar pump enriches the water in
your pond with oxygen. The pump is powered
by solar energy. The captured energy is stored
in a built-in battery so the solar pump remains
operational even during the hours of darkness.
However, the operating life will be limited since,
once the battery runs out, the pump cannot
recharge during darkness. The remote control
and attachable nozzle supplied mean that you
can turn the pump off and adjust the way the
water fountain works. The pump is only suitable
for domestic use and is not for commercial use.
Use in swimming pools is prohibited. The pump
is only to be used for water pumping and is not
suitable for any other kind of use, including
industrial or commercial use. If it is used for other
purposes, the warranty is void.

INSTRUCTIONS
General Safety Advice
Please note!
This guidance must be read in full with all
instructions. If the pump is used incorrectly,
this could lead to danger to humans and animals
and the pump could be damaged. In the following
text, the words “pump” and “device” refer to the
solar pump. If problems occur during use, only a
technically trained person is authorised to repair
the pump. Only original spare parts must be used
exclusively for repairs.
The pump is to be used only with a direct current.
Never connect the pump to an alternating
current. It must only be used with fresh and clean
water. Keep highly inflammable substances away
from the pump. Never allow the solar pump to
run without water.
Safety of People
Care and attention are very important during use.
If you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication, using the solar pump is prohibited.
A moment of inattention while operating the
device may result in serious injury or damage.
Avoid any unintentional start-up. Make sure that
the switch is switched to the “OFF” position after
use. The pump must not run without water, as
this will destroy it. Children and pets should not
come into contact with the pump. Do not insert
foreign objects into the pump.
Correct Handling, Cleaning and Use
If the pump shows signs of defects, this could
be due to a blockage. Regular maintenance and
cleaning will help to prevent incorrect use and
potential damage.
Cleaning the pump:
To clean the pump, first pull
the two case halves apart (Figure 1). This can be
achieved by pulling them carefully by hand. After
this, pull the two fan wheel covers apart carefully
and clean the interior with clean water. Then,
carefully put both halves back together so the
two case halves are joined again.

General cleaning
: Regular removal and cleaning
away dirt from the solar panel and pump are
recommended. This debris is completely normal.
Use a soft, damp cloth. Use only clear,
clean water and never use cleaning agents.
Check all parts of the pump for damage and
to make sure they are functioning properly,
especially the moving parts of the device, for
damage and proper functioning. The pump
must be maintained with extreme care. Ensure
damaged parts are repaired before using the
appliance. Many accidents are caused by the
fact that the pump has not been regularly and
carefully serviced.
Use the pump in accordance with these
instructions as they are intended for this
particular type of device. Using the pump for
anything other than its intended use can lead
to dangerous situations. Follow the instructions
given for this pump. If you do not intend to use
the pump for more than seven days, disconnect
