4.7. Reversing the Icebox Door Opening – Right to Left
The door opening can be reversed from
“right hand hinged” to “left hand hinged” if
required. If your appliance is supplied
“left hand hinged” simply reverse the
following procedure.
Warning!
When reversing the door, the appliance must not be connected to the mains.
1. Remove the Icebox door hinge cover. (Figure 1)
2. Unscrew the two screws fixing the Icebox door hinge and remove the freezer
door. (Figure 2)
3. Unscrew the one screw fixing the freezer door catch and remove it. Then screw
it to the right side. Remove the two small grommets from the left side and insert
them into the side as show. (Figure 3)
4. Assemble the Icebox door and fix the Icebox door hinge by tightening the
screws (reverse operation in point 2). (Figure 4)
5. Finally, insert the Icebox door hinge cover.
Note: Service calls relating to door problems and/or cooling issues will be
chargeable if the fault found is to be due to an incorrect door reversal procedure
carried out by the consumer!
