1.2. For The Island Model, Proceed as Follows:
 Position the fixing plate in the required position on the ceiling and mark out
the position of the screws. The plate must be securely attached to the ceiling
using 11 x screws for a wood surface or 8 x bolts for a concrete surface.
 Fit the angle bars to the ceiling plate using the 8 x M5 screws and then
extend the bars to the required length and secure using the 16 x M5 screws.
N.B. the bars must have an overlap of at least 100mm.
 If you are going to use the hood in extraction mode, you should connect the
flexible house to the vent outlet at this point in the installation.

Fit the upper chimney section to the ceiling plate and secure with the 4 x
screws.
