repaired by the user.

USING THE HEAT SHIELD 

The safety shield is designed to protect the fascia panel and the knobs 
when the oven is in Grill Mode. Place the safety shield under the control 
panel by opening the grill door, then secure the safety shield between 
the oven and the grill door by closing the grill door.  

It is important to 

keep the grill door open in this manner when using the Grill.
