SAFETY
REGULATIONS
Warning:

if

device
corresponds
to
the
local
voltage

connect
the
device.

earthed
socket.

Check

device
regularly
for
damage.
Do
not
use
the
device
in
case
the
power
cord
or
plug
is
damaged,
or
when
any
component
of
the
device
has
been
dropped
or
damaged.
If
the
power
cord
is
damaged,
you
must
have
it
replaced
by
Van
den
Berg
Products
or
a
service
centre
authorized
by
Van
den
Berg
Products
in
order
to
avoid
safety
hazards.
6.
Do
not
attempt
to
repair
the
device
yourself.
7.
This
appliance
is
not
suitable
for
use
by
children
or
persons
with
reduced
physical,
sensory
or
mental
capabilities,
or
lack
of
experience
and
knowledge,
unless
someone
responsible
for
their
safety
is
supervising
them
or
explains
how
the
appliance
must
be
used.
Close
supervision
is
required
if
the
appliance
is
used
near
of
children,
pets
or
plants.
8.
Never
allow
children
to
play
with
the
packaging
as
there
is
risk
of
suffocation.
9.
Do
not
leave
the
device
unattended
when
the
plug
is
in
the
socket.
10.
Always
remove
the
plug
from
the
socket
when
you
clean
the
device
or
when
you
are
not
using
the
device.

Never
pull
the
power
cord
to
disconnect
the
plug
from

socket;
instead,
hold
the
plug
and
gently
pull
to
disconnect.

Do
not
use
the
device
with
an
extension
cord

extension

pull

carry

cord
and

not
use

power
cord

handle.

close

door

pull

around

device
over

power
cord
and

not
allow

cord

compressed

curled.

Keep

device,

plug
and
the
power
cord
away
from
flames
and
hot
surfaces.

Do
not
use
attachments
which
are
not
recommended
by
Van
den
Berg
Products,
especially
accessories
which
are
not
supplied
with
the
appliance.
17.
Do
not
bend
the
hose
or
carry
the
device
by
the
hose,
immediately
stop
the
use
of
the
device
when
the
hose
shows
damages.
18.
Keep
the
end
of
hose,
tubes
and
other
openings
away
from
your
face
and
body.
19.
Do
not
insert
anything
into
the
air
intake
as
it
may
block.
Do
not
use
the
device
when
the
tube,
hose
or
air
intake
is
blocked.
Keep
the
device
free
of
dust,
lint,
hair
and
anything
that
may
reduce
the
air
flow.
20.
Vacuuming
large
objects
may
cause
the
air
passage
in
the
tube
or
hose
to
be
obstructed.
If
this
happens,
the
obstruction
needs
to
be
removed.
21.
Do
not
vacuum
anything
burning
or
smoking,
like
cigarettes,
matches
or
hot
ashes.
22.
Do
not
vacuum
any
sharp
objects,
like
glass
or
nails.
23.
Do
not
vacuum
toner
content
of
printers
or
copying
machines
with
the
vacuum
cleaner.
24.
Do
not
vacuum
liquids
or
moist
materials
of
any
sort
as
there
will
be
a
high
risk
of
electric
shock.
