Apple Hand Pies
2 small apples, peeled and diced
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. honey
2 tsp. water
½
tsp. cinnamon

1. Set the unit to SAUTÉ and cook the first 4 ingredients in the cooking pot for
about 5 minutes.
2. Mix the cornstarch and water in a cup and pour it into the apple mixture. Heat
another minute, stirring until the mixture thickens. CANCEL.
3. Roll out the pie crust and cut into 4 equal pieces.
4. Divide the apple mixture between the 4 crust pieces and fold each crust over
to make 4 triangular pies. Press the edges to close. Wash the cooking pot.
5. Place the pies on the rack in the low position in the cooking pot.
6. Attach the air fryer lid and cook at 375° F for 15 minutes.
Serves 4
Chicken Stock
10 cups water
leftover chicken carcass
1 large onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
3 stalks celery (leaves and all), chopped
2 bay leaves
3 carrots, chopped
½
tsp. dried thyme
8 cloves garlic, smashed
½
tsp. dried rosemary
1. Add all ingredients to the cooking pot in the base.
2. Lock on the pressure cooker lid. Make sure the regulator is set to SEALING.
3. Press SOUP and set the time for 30 minutes. When cooking is done, let pressure
release naturally for 1 hour. Move the regulator to VENTING before removing lid.
4. Carefully use a colander to strain the liquid and throw away the solids.
5. Freeze stock in freezer safe containers until needed.
Makes 10 cups
Steak Dinner
1 cup water
2 frozen strip steaks (about 10 oz. each)
1 lb. baby potatoes
salt & pepper
1 lb. carrots, peeled and chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
handful of fresh parsley, chopped
1. To avoid cross contamination, wash hands, cutting boards, utensils, etc. after
touching raw meat.
2. Put the water, potatoes and carrots in the bottom of the cooking pot in the
base. Add the rack in the high position.
3. Rub salt & pepper on both sides of the steaks and place them on the rack.
4. Lock on the pressure cooking lid. Make sure the regulator is set to SEALING.
5. Press MANUAL and set to high pressure for 2 minutes. When done, CANCEL
and carefully do a quick release.
6. Remove the lid and add the air fryer lid. Press STEAK and change the time to
8–12 minutes. The steaks are done medium well when internal temperature is
145
o
F.
7. Let steaks rest on a platter for 5 minutes. Toss the the potatoes and carrots with
the butter and salt & pepper to taste. Garnish all with parsley.
Serves 2
Mexican-Style Corn on the Cob
2 small ears of corn
salt & pepper
1 tsp. olive oil
hot sauce
1 cloves garlic, minced
fresh cilantro, chopped
1 Tbsp. butter
1. Brush the corn with the olive oil and place on the rack in the cooking pot in the
high position. Attach the air fryer lid and cook on CORN (360° F for 15
minutes).
2. While the corn is cooking, put the garlic and butter in a microwave-safe dish
and cook in a microwave oven just until the butter is melted.
3. When the corn is done, remove it from the cooking pot, pour the garlic butter
over it and garnish with salt & pepper, hot sauce and cilantro.
