How to Use
Installation (cont.)
WARNING:
Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a
hot water system that has not been used for 2 weeks or more. HYDROGEN
GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If the hot water system has not been used for such a pe-
riod, before using the washing machine, turn on all hot water faucets and let
the water flow for several minutes. This will release any accumulated hydro-
gen gas. As the gas is flammable, do not smoke or use an open flame during
this time.
13. Connect the drain hose. Position the free end of the drain hose in 1 of 3 ways:
A. Over the edge of a sink. Secure the guide to the edge of the sink with
a hook or to the tap with a piece of string.
B. In a standpipe length between 32–39".
C. In a laundry tub with a height of 32–39".
Note:
Make sure that the connection between the drain hose and the sink,
standpipe or laundry tub is NOT airtight.
14. Slide the washer into position.
15. Use a leveling gauge to ensure the washer is level. If not, level your washer by
turning the front leveling feet clockwise or counterclockwise as necessary.
16. Plug the power cord into a 3-prong electrical outlet.
17. Run a test cycle to check if your washer is properly installed:
A. Press ON/OFF to turn on your washer.
B. Press PROCEDURE to select RINSE and SPIN cycles.
C. Press START/PAUSE to start the test cycle.
D. The washer should not rock or vibrate excessively when water is
supplied or when the unit is washing or spinning, and should drain well
during the spin cycle. If the washer rocks and vibrates excessively, level
the washer again.
1. Press PROCEDURE to select cycle steps. The related light will be on indicating
that the step is selected. For normal wash, all soak, wash, rinse and spin lights
are on.
2. The digital display will show and count down the estimated minutes for the
wash cycle selected.
3. Press DELAY to delay washing start time up to 24 hours. If delay start is set,
the display will count down the hours until the cycle begins, and then change
to a countdown for the wash cycle.
4. Press LOAD SIZE to set the washing load size: large, medium or small. Your
choice will determine the water level.
5. Press TEMPERATURE to select water temperature: cold, warm or hot.
6. CONTROL LOCK is to prevent children from changing the operation status of
the unit. Press and hold TEMP and PROGRAM simultaneously to activate this
function. Press and hold TEMP and PROGRAM simultaneously again to
deactivate this function. When control lock is activated, no buttons will
function except POWER and the ability to deactivate control lock.
7. Press PROGRAM to select your desired washing program: normal, heavy or
delicate.
8. Press EXTRA RINSE to add 1 more rinse to a cycle.
9. Press START/PAUSE once to the start the wash cycle. Press during operation
to pause the cycle. Press again to continue the cycle.
10. Press ON/OFF once to turn on the power of the washer. Press again to turn
off the unit.
