How to Use

Installation (cont.)

WARNING:

Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a

hot water system that has not been used for 2 weeks or more. HYDROGEN
GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If the hot water system has not been used for such a pe-
riod, before using the washing machine, turn on all hot water faucets and let
the water flow for several minutes. This will release any accumulated hydro-
gen gas. As the gas is flammable, do not smoke or use an open flame during
this time.

13. Connect the drain hose. Position the free end of the drain hose in 1 of 3 ways:

A. Over the edge of a sink. Secure the guide to the edge of the sink with

a hook or to the tap with a piece of string.

B. In a standpipe length between 32–39".

C. In a laundry tub with a height of 32–39".

Note:

Make sure that the connection between the drain hose and the sink,

standpipe or laundry tub is NOT airtight.

14. Slide the washer into position.
15. Use a leveling gauge to ensure the washer is level. If not, level your washer by
turning the front leveling feet clockwise or counterclockwise as necessary.

supplied or when the unit is washing or spinning, and should drain well
during the spin cycle. If the washer rocks and vibrates excessively, level
                  the washer again.

 1. Press PROCEDURE to select cycle steps. The related light will be on indicating
that the step is selected. For normal wash, all soak, wash, rinse and spin lights
     are on.
 2. The digital display will show and count down the estimated minutes for the
     wash cycle selected.

function except POWER and the ability to deactivate control lock.
