the system will transmit a test signal to the Hand Held Transceiver to test the range of the pager
system. The pager test indication will last for 2 minutes. You can cancel the Pager Test indication
before 2minute period is over by pressing any button of the Handset. This Pager Test will be
available as many times as you press button 3 within the armed period (one activation for each
pressing).
When the transceiver receives a test signal the Pager Test icon will be displayed on
the LCD panel, the pager test melody will be sounding, and all symbols will be
displayed on the LCD panel one after another.
Auxiliary Outputs
Trunk Release Output
Pressing button 2 for 3 seconds activates the Trunk Release output. This will issue an impulse
on the trunk release output wire and will override the sensors and trunk input until 10 seconds
after the trunk switch is closed.
Comfort/TwoStage Unlock Output
If you set the programming for the Comfort Window Close option, the Output will be
automatically activated when the alarm system is armed either by remote control or by key or by
passive arming (not rearming) it remains active for 20 seconds. During the 20second close
period and for the first 10 seconds after the comfort close period, the two sensor sockets will be
disabled. This is to ensure that the sensors cannot trigger the alarm system during the comfort
close period and to allow a 10second settling period after the close period for the sensors to
settle.
If set the TwoStage Unlock will operate as describe in sections “Disarming” and “Ignition
Safety Door Lock/Unlock”.
Latch Output//Brake/Clutch Output
Depending on program setting the output will operate in two different modes:
1. Latch Output the output will be activated as soon as button 1 and 2 are pressed at the
same time and will be turned off by the second simultaneous press of buttons 1 and 2.
2. Brake/Clutch Output – the output is activated as soon as the system receives or generates
a remote starting command and will remain active until the system detects the engine
is started up. This is for the vehicles requiring the brake or clutch pedal to be depressed to
allow running of the starter motor.
