Figure 9 depicts the connections for simultaneous ring modulation and
autopanning. You can also connect an external synthesizer VCO or LFO to the Pan
Mod, or to the Ring Mod modulation input, or to both. Typically, autopanning is
done with subsonic modulation and ring modulation is done with audio frequency
modulation. With the MS5 Pannerama, there are no limitations – experiment.
Modulating both the ring modulator and the stereo panner at audio frequencies
effectively gives you three simultaneous ring modulators. One traditional sounding
and two modern ultra-clean ones respectively.
