IEEE 802.1x: 

 

IEEE  802.1x  is  an  IEEE  standard  for  port-based  Network  Access 

Control. It provides an authentication mechanism to  a device on a 

LAN or WLAN. 

 

The  EAPOL  protocol  support  service  identification  and  optional 

point to point encryption over the local LAN segment.

Please  check  what  version  of  the  authenticator  and  authentication 

server is supported. This camera supports EAP-TLS method. Enter 

the ID and password issued by the CA and then upload the related 

certificates.
