Pickup Tube inlet under the Lid. This helps keep

the  Spray  Gun  parts  lubricated  and  minimizes

clogging.

4.

Push the Pickup Tube back into the Canister Lid.

-

If  you  are  spraying  at  an  upward  angle  or

straight  on,  position  the  pickup  tube

(fig.  5)

toward the back of the canister.

-

If  you  are  spraying  at  a  downward  angle,

position  the  pickup  tube

(fig.  6)

  toward  the

front of the canister.

This  will  ensure  you  spray  as  much  material  as

possible before you need to refill.

FILLING THE CANISTER

See Fig. 7

1.

Fill the Canister with paint of the correct viscosity,

then  carefully  screw  the  Canister  back  into  the

Canister Lid. Securely tighten.

2.

Clean  any  residual  liquid  from  the  threads  or

sides of the canister and sprayer.

The easiest way to do this without spilling paint is to

leave the full Canister on a flat surface. Lift the Spray

Gun  and  carefully  place  the  Pickup  Tube  into  the

Canister. When the top of the Canister reaches the

Canister  Lid,  begin  turning  the  Canister  until  it

screws into the Canister Lid. Securely tighten.

SPRAYER CONTROLS

SPRAY PATTERN ADJUSTMENT

See Fig. 8, 9, 10

To adjust the spray pattern, loosen the Tip Collar by

turning it counterclockwise

(Fig. 8)

, then rotate the

Air Cap, then retighten the Tip Collar.

For  a  vertical  spray  pattern,  the  "ears"  of  the

Spray Nozzle should be horizontal. Apply up and

down a surface

(Fig. 9)

.

For  a  horizontal  pattern,  the  "ears"  should  be

vertical. Apply side to side

(Fig. 10)

.

In other words, the position of the Spray Nozzle and

the  spray  pattern  are  at  a  90°  offset  from  one

another.

Risk  of  injury.  Never  point  the

sprayer  at  any  part  of  the  body.

Never  pull  the  trigger  while  adjusting  the  spray

setting.

MATERIAL FLOW ADJUSTMENT

See Fig. 11

To  control  the  amount  of  paint  mixture  being

sprayed, adjust the Adjusting Knob.

Turning  the  Knob  clockwise  will  increase  the

amount of paint.

Turning  it  counterclockwise  will  reduce  the

amount of paint available.

Do  not  over-tighten  the  Knob,  as

this will cut off the paint supply, and

may damage the Spray Tip/Needle.

TIP:

Always  test  the  spray  pattern  on  scrap

cardboard  or  similar  material  first.  Begin  with  the

material adjustment knob on the highest flow setting

(clockwise to the end). If less flow is desired, dial the

material adjustment knob counterclockwise. Heavier,

thicker  materials  should  be  sprayed  with  the  knob

dialed  farther  right.  Thinner  materials  should  be

sprayed with the knob dialed farther left.

SPRAY TIP & NEEDLE SELECTION

See Fig. 12

To  change  the  Spray  Tip  and  Needle:  The  Spray  Tip

and Needle must both be the same size.

Check  to  make  sure  that  they  fit  together  properly

before  installation.  Typically,  a  larger  Tip/Needle

would be required for thicker material.

1.

Make certain that the unit is shut off, remove the

battery pack and clean before proceeding.

2.

Loosen  and  remove  the  Tip  Collar,  Air  Cap,  and

Spray Tip. Be careful not to allow any parts to fall

out of the gun.

3.

Loosen and remove the Needle.

4.

Assemble  the  matching  Spray  Tip  &  Needle,  Air

Cap, and Tip Collar.

5.

The  sprayer  controls  will  require  readjustment

after this procedure is complete.

NOTICE:

The Spray Tip can only go in one way. The

notch on the Spray Tip must align with the recess in

the threads of the sprayer.

TIP:

Always test the spray pattern on scrap cardboard

or similar material first. Start by selecting the Spray

Tip/Needle  with  the  largest  aperture(2.5mm).  If

smaller atomized particles is desired, choose a small

kit. Heavier, thicker materials should be sprayed with

a large Spray Tip/needle. Thinner materials should be

sprayed with a small Spray Tip/Needle.

OPERATION

To reduce the risk of fire, personal

injury, and product damage due to

a short circuit, never immerse your tool, battery pack

or charger in fluid or allow a fluid to flow inside them.

Corrosive  or  conductive  fluids,  such  as  seawater,

certain  industrial  chemicals,  and  bleach  or  bleach-

containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit.

If  any  parts  are  damaged  or

missing,  do  not  operate  this

product  until  the  parts  are  replaced.

Use  of  this

product with damaged or missing parts could result

in serious personal injury.

Do not attempt to modify this tool

or

create

accessories

not

recommended  for  use  with  this  tool.

Any  such

alteration or modification is misuse and could result

in a hazardous condition leading to possible serious

injury.

To prevent accidental starting that

could cause serious personal injury,

always remove the battery pack from the tool when

assembling  parts,  making  adjustments,  cleaning,  or

performing maintenance.

This cordless tool must be used only with the battery
