Inclines and ditches should be approached along
a line which is at an angle as shown. This type of
path will reduce the possibility of over-collapse of
the driveline and resulting damage. If the gradient
is so steep that such an approach increases the
possibility of a tractor roll-over, select an alternate
crossing path.
When operating the tractor and cutter across
slopes and inclines, through ditches, and other
uneven terrain conditions, it is important to

on the cutter drive and to the cutter blades resulting
in possible damage and premature wear.
OPERATING THE TRACTOR AND IMPLEMENT
THE OPERATOR MUST COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND HOW TO OPERATE THE TRACTOR AND
IMPLEMENT AND ALL CONTROLS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO OPERATE.
The operator must read and
understand the Safety and Operation Sections of the implement and tractor operator’s manuals. These
manuals must be read and explained to any operator who cannot read. Never allow someone to operate
the implement and tractor without complete operating instructions.
