Hard Wiring Power-In
Note: A qualified electrician must remove the supplied plug and cable and wire the fireplace directly to
the household wiring.
NOTE: A dedicated 10 Amp (or higher) breaker is required.
This fireplace must
be electrically connected and grounded in accordance with local codes.
Turn off power from the circuit breaker first.
A. Remove the power-in connector from the right-side bottom of the fireplace by removing the two
screws as shown in the figure below.
B. Remove the wire connectors from the power-in connector as shown below. The power-in connector
may be discarded.
C. Take new cover plate supplied in the hardware bag and punch out the 7/8" (22.2mm) hole. Install
box connector through hole in cover plate. Feed wires through box connector.
D. Using the wire connectors, connect the three wires appropriately (Green (G) is ground, White (W)
is common/neutral, and Black (L) is the hot/line connection. Re-install the cover plate using the
three screws, as shown below.
