III. Care for Carbon Filters
Attach a carbon filter on the unit to be used with a recirculation system (not the ducting syst em). This filter
should be replaced at least once a year (recommended every three month) or depends on how often the
use of cooker hood.
IV. Replacing Light Bulbs
Turn the unit off and disconnect the power cord.
Disconnect the wire and remove the lamp from cooker hood body.
Change the bulb with the same size and power type.
Install the new lamp on the cooker hood body and reconnect the wire.
Please perform checking procedure on the following things before contacting MODE NA servic e center when
troubleshooting occurs:

Clean the aluminum filter, dry it and place
it back on the vent hood.
Replace the carbon filter foam with a new

The vent hood is installed too close to the
stove.
Air circulation is not optimal.

Light on, but fan does
not work.

Replace the bulb wit h correct rating.

Take down the unit and check whether
