Caution:
- Cleaning on the electric plate carries out during the electric plate not in hot condition. Exception: if
the electric plate exposed with sugar or liquid that contains high sugar level, quickly clean the
electric plate, (please be careful when doing this, as it can cause burns.)
- Always turn off the electric plate and unplug the power cord from the electric socket before
cleaning your electric stove.
- Do not use cleaning fluids that can damage the electric plate.
- Use a smooth fabric / cloth and does not cause scratches on your electric stove
- Dry the bottom part of the cooking appliances that will be used before putting on the top of electric
plate.
- Always reduce the heat in the cooking zone or turn off the c ooking zone before removing your
cooking utensil.
- Use cooking appliances with flat bottom and thick metal material.
- Do not use the cooking appliances with smaller diameter of electric plate diameter.
- After the electric cooker is done cooking, the indica tor lamp will still be on until the entire electric
plate is cooled off. Do not touch the electric plate if the indicator lamp is still on.
- Oil or fat must be treated with caution during the cooking process since the material is flammable
at certain temperature.
- Avoid power cord wiring extension.
- Always remember that the parts of stove as well as the other objects around will feel hot for a
considerable period of time (approximately 30 minutes) after you turn off the stove.
- In the case of an anomaly on your electric cooker , turn off the unit and unplug the power cable
from the power outlet and immediately contact the MODENA Service Center.
- Turn off the stove and unplug the power cord from the power outlet after cooking is finished or
when the electric c ooker is not used for an extended period of time. For BI 1640, turn off the
power through the MCB.
- Routinely service your stove once every 3 (three) months so that any anomaly on your gas stove
can be immediately fixed.
Make some preventive checking before you Call Service Center if you have any operational problem
as below:

The electric cooker is
inoperable
1. Is the power cord plugged correctly?
2. Is there electricity running through the power outlet?
3. Is the cable on the unit disconnected?
Electric plate is not
functioning
1. Is the power otlet or cord properly plugged?
2. Make sure the zone cooking symbol is selected and the
heat is arranged in accordance to needs.
Contact our Service Center for repairs if the aforementioned issues prevail
