Back Panel
AUTO / MANUAL Switch
Switches between fixed filter sound (whereby MANUAL,
OSC. PERIOD does not operate) and the typical “Sweeping
Sound” (AUTO).
AMOUNT socket
Using a CV pedal (expression pedal) plugged in here,
the filter strength can be regulated (in this case PHASING
sets the maximum effect strength).
RATE
Using a CV Pedal (expression pedal) plugged in here,
the sweeping rate can be regulated (Should only be used
in AUTO mode).
OUTPUT R / L
Effect signal output – Right channel & Left channel
INPUT
Mono – can be used for instruments or line level
(E-guitars or keyboards).
POWER
Power connection – please use enclosed mains adaptor –
or an adaptor with comparable specifications.
Top Panel
Red Light
Lights up or blinks according to the effects setting
(more effects = brighter – quicker sweep = faster blink).
PHASING
Controls the strength and quantity of the (through the effect)
deleted / amplified frequencies.
In MANUAL mode this setting is fixed – in AUTO mode
the PHASING wanders backwards and forwards between
the setting fixed and the minimum setting. This effect is the
so-called “SWEEP”.
The speed of the sweep is controlled by the OSC.PERIOD.
OSC.PERIOD
Minimum setting = Maximum speed – i.e. the higher
the OSC.PERIOD is turned up, the slower will be the
“Sweep Effect”.
FEEDBACK
With FEEDBACK the effect signal can be remixed with the
input signal – making the signal continually stronger – until
a feedback-loop situation is reached, causing the machine
to whistle.
If the control is turned down no effect can be heard.
MODULATION
The „Secret knob“. Frequency-dependent, hard to define and
almost only audible in stereo (more or less esoteric, but had
to be on the pedal for authenticity...).
Green Light
Indicates that the signal is being processed
(Bypass: light is off – signal being processed: light is on).
Footswitch
Switches the effect on and off (Bypass).
