Distance (D910)
This indicates the distance from the transmitter face to a detected surface.
It is a useful diagnostic because a false surface signal can be identified and related to the physical
nature of the installation.
Note
Figure F-1 on page 106
shows this parameter in a tank geometry illustration.
Field Communicator
To view the distance to a detected surface:
1.
From the
Home
screen, select
3: Service Tools
.
2.
Select
1: Alerts
.
3.
Select
2: Diagnostic Data
.
4.
Select
1: Target Data
.
5.
Select
1: Distance D910
.
6.
When finished, press
EXIT
to exit to the previous menu.
Mobrey MCU900 Series control unit
To view the distance to a detected surface:
1.
From the
Main Menu
screen, select
MONITOR
.
2.
Select the transmitter (e.g. “
Tx1:MSP400RH
”).
3.
Select
DIAGNOSTICS
.
4.
Select
Distance
.
5.
When finished, press the
ESC
key to exit to the previous menu.
