14. Guide the scooter into the boot, ensuring there
is adequate clearance for the boom and mobility
device to swing into position.
13. Press and hold the
LEFT
button to move the
mobility device inwards. Rotate the mobility device
as it moves inwards.
15. Press and hold the down button until the scooter
is firmly placed onto the floor of the vehicle and the
straps become loose enough to detach.*
16. If fitted, you should engage the restraint system
now.**
*Do not continue to hold the down button once the
scooter is grounded. Do not attempt to manoeuvre
the mobility device once it is grounded.
**Autochair strongly recommend the mobility
equipment is restrained whilst traveling. Failure
to restrain your mobility equipment could result in
injury and damage to the vehicle passengers.
***Never leave the system switched on when not
in use.
17. Return the handset to its stored position,
ensuring the cable is clear of trapping points. Press
the power button to switch the unit off.***
