• Fasten down the screw on the terminal cover ensuring the mains cable is secure under
the cable clamp
• Lift both spring clips on the sides of the sensor and push into the ceiling (see Fig. 3)
INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE MANUAL
These instructions should be read carefully and retained after installation by the end user for future reference
and maintenance.
These instructions should be used to aid installation of the following product:

This product must be installed in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations
(BS7671) and current Building Regulations. If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician
•
Please isolate mains prior to installation or maintenance
•
Please note the IP (Ingress Protection) rating of this product when deciding the location for installation
•
Do not overload this accessory or subject it to conditions outside its rating
•
This product is for indoor use only
•
This product is Class II double insulated
•
This product is IP20 rated
INSTALLATION
•
Provide power to the required point of installation
•
Cut a suitable hole in the mounting surface as per the cut-out details (see Fig. 1) ensuring not to
infringe with any joists, gas/water pipes or electrical cables

Loosen the screw on the terminal cover
•
Ensuring correct polarity is observed, terminate the mains cable Live (Brown), Neutral (Blue) and the L
’
(Load Live) into the sensor (see Fig. 2)

SENSOR SETTINGS

Time
–
The time can be set to 30 sec, 1 min, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, Test and Pulse
Pulse setting: when motion is detected and depending on the Lux setting, the sensor will turn the load on for 1
second and then off for 9 seconds until the next detection.
Test setting: the Lux setting is deactivated and when motion is detected the load will turn on for 3 seconds.
Lux
–
This controls the light level at which the sensor will operate when motion is detected. At the maximum
position (
), the sensor will switch during daylight. At the lowest setting, the sensor will only operate in total
darkness.
Teach in
-
When this option is selected the sensor will memorise the current lux level. When the lux
level drops below this, the load will turn on. When the lux level rises above this, the load will turn off.
Sens
–
This controls the range of the sensor with a maximum of 4.5m when installed at 2.5m height.
