6.1 Self-Test Error Codes
At power turn on, the ESP302-GPIB-ADPT conducts a self-test of its major components. A successful
test ends when the RDY LED on. Test failures are indicated by the LED patterns shown in Table
below. Typically, the failure is a pattern of blinking LEDs which lasts for 5 seconds. If the ESP302-
GPIB-ADPT does not have a fatal error, the self-test will continue until it is complete but the RDY LED
will remain off. If a self-test failure occurs, turn the unit off for 10 seconds and turn power back on. If
the failure persists, refer to paragraph 5.3 for repair instructions.
Table below lists the ESP302-GPIB-ADPT self-test error codes and most probable faulty component.
