CONVEYOR CHAIN MAINTENANCE
8.1
Shortening the Chain
RISK OF INJURY!
Maintenance work should only be preformed by qualified personnel.
Conveyor power MUST be disconnected and locked-out prior to servicing.
After servicing, and before power is reconnected, all safety guards must be reinstalled.
Ensure all product has been removed from the conveyor.
WARNING!

Loosen screws (1) and remove protective cover (2).
Pull out the conveyor chain (3) below the drive until a
connecting ping (4) is visible.
Drive out the connecting pin using a suitable tool.
Then remove the chain link (5).
Reassemble in reverse order.
