Precautions when Installing the Steam Pressure Sensor
The EJ-210 can use boiler pressure as control information if the optional steam pressure sensor
is installed on the boiler. Be aware of the following points when installing or wiring the steam
pressure sensor.
• To allow comparison and reading of the pressures at the pressure sensor and the boiler
pressure gauge, install the steam pressure sensor close to the boiler pressure gauge.
• Install the steam pressure sensor vertically.
• Determine the installation position and perform wiring so that water such as steam and
condensation cannot flow along the wires toward the sensor.
• Use a siphon tube or other method to fully cool (as a guide, less than 80°C at the pressure-
receiving area) the piping to the steam pressure sensor.
