4) Set the maximum steam output in the “MAX
output”. This setting determines how many
boilers will be required to meet the demand,
thus determining how many boilers will be in the
rotation.
• Press the
▲▼
buttons to set the output in
units of 100 LB/h.
5) Set the expected fluctuation in steam output in
the “FLUC range”. This setting is used to ensure
rapid response to sudden changes in steam
demand. The BP will control the boiler system
such that the boilers have a reserved capacity
greater than or equal to the “FLUC range”. That
is, the BP will keep enough boilers in low fire or
pressure hold in order to be able to quickly
respond to a load change equal to the “FLUC
range”.
• Press the
▲▼
buttons to set the output in
units of 100 LB/h.
6) A confirmation dialog box appears when the
“Set” button is pressed. Press the “Yes” button
to proceed with the operation. The message
“Accepted the setting.” appears for two seconds.
