4)  Set the maximum steam output in the “MAX 

output”. This setting determines how many 

boilers will be required to meet the demand, 

thus determining how many boilers will be in the 

rotation. 

• Press the 

▲▼

 buttons to set the output in 

units of 100 LB/h.   

 

 

 

5)  Set the expected fluctuation in steam output in 

the “FLUC range”. This setting is used to ensure 

rapid response to sudden changes in steam 

demand. The BP will control the boiler system 

such that the boilers have a reserved capacity 

greater than or equal to the “FLUC range”. That 

is, the BP will keep enough boilers in low fire or 

pressure hold in order to be able to quickly 

respond to a load change equal to the “FLUC 

range”. 

• Press the 

▲▼

 buttons to set the output in 

units of 100 LB/h.   

 

 

 

6)  A confirmation dialog box appears when the 

“Set” button is pressed. Press the “Yes” button 

to proceed with the operation. The message 

“Accepted the setting.” appears for two seconds.
