Screen front surface
•
Wipe with a lint free soft and dry cloth or with a
damp cloth using water or alcohol.
•
Do not use solvents including acid/alkali ingredients
or abrasive. Do not scrub hard with a dry hard cloth.
Reflection mirror
•
Do not wipe the reflection mirror as much as possible.
Wiping tends to leave traces of wiping which is
difficult to clear away since the mirror is a front
surface mirror. Micro scratches by wiping also may
damage the picture quality.
•
If there is a problem in the picture due to dirt on the
mirror, blow it off by compressed air, or gently wipe it
out with a recommended wiping cloth* after the
blowing off.
•
* Recommended wiping cloth:
- “Savina Minimax”, Kanebo Gohsen, Ltd.
- “Toraysee CC CLEAN CLOTH”, Toray Industries, Inc.
They are made of ultra-fine micro fibers which can
entrap most of the microscopic dust and particulate
without any solvents as water or alcohol.
•
Notice:
- Wipe the mirror gently with the central area of the
cloth. Do not scrub at the edge of the cloth.
- If it is hard to get the cloths described above, use a
wiping cloth for display monitors or eyeglasses
which is also made of ultra-fine micro fibers.
Cabinet
•
Wipe with a lint free soft and dry cloth, or with a
damp cloth if necessary. Then add a finish the
cleaning with a dry cloth.
•
Do not use solvents like thinner or benzene. It may
cause the coating to degenerate or peel off.

These operations are normally unnecessary. The
following items can be reset as needed.
Light source timer reset
SYSTEM SETTING > MAINTENANCE > LED TIMER RESET
/ LED TIMER RESET
Operating time of the light source in lighting position
can be reset.
• Light source timer resetting is not needed at light
source replacement. The light source operating time
will be automatically updated.
Peak-hold value reset in heat sensors
SYSTEM SETTING > MAINTENANCE >
MAX. TEMPERATURE RESET
Heat sensors in the monitors always check the internal
temperatures. You can reset the peak-hold values.
•
The peak and current values in heat sensors are
shown in advanced information on screen (page 10)
and Information menu in Wallaby (page 59).
Factory default restoring
SYSTEM SETTING > MISC. 2 > MEMORY INITIALIZE
You can restore the all factory default setting in system
memory, input memory and display memory.
Select INITIALIZE OK? > YES. The monitor replies “ARE
YOU SURE?” to make sure. Select YES again to answer.
Be careful all your adjusted values will be gone.

Before shipment, be sure to fix the screen with the
shipping lock bolts (page 14). Shipping the product
without locking may cause breakage.
