7-5-2. Adjustment of the fixed knife 

(1) Confirm the clearance between blade edge of fixed knife (No.1) and edge of the needle plate (No.2) is 

1.5 mm. 

(2) If different, loosen the screw (No.3) and adjust the clearance.

 

NOTE  If  the  clearance is smaller  than  1.5 mm,  it may  cases any  trimming failure  or  unstable  trimming
