How to check mis-wiring
Turn OFF the power supply.
Turn ON the power supply.
Turn ON the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.
(any mode possible)
Make sure the unit emits a beep tone.
Replace the outdoor electronic control P.C.board.

Press the OPERATE/STOP(ON/OFF) button on
the remote controller to send signal.
Turn OFF the power supply.
Check by using checking mode.

Disconnect indoor/outdoor wiring (at indoor terminal blocks

Short circuit between indoor terminal blocks

and

Turn ON the power supply.

While pressing the OPERATION SELECT button and the TOO COOL
button on the remote controller, press the RESET button on the
remote controller.

Release the RESET button on the remote controller.
(After 3 seconds, LCD on the remote controller displays all signs.)
Before the unit resumes normal operation.
•Release the checking mode by pressing the
RESET button on the remote controller, and then
send the unit signal to stop operation.
•Turn OFF the power supply to indoor/outdoor
units.
•Get indoor terminal blocks

opened, and
reconnect indoor/ outdoor wiring.
Is the power voltage to terminal blocks of
indoor/outdoor units normal?
Does the OPERATION INDICATOR
lamp on the indoor unit flash on?
Is the terminal blocks

indoor unit properly connected to their
counter parts on outdoor unit?
Start
Correct the mis-wiring.

Be sure to turn OFF the power supply to
indoor/outdoor units in replacing P.C. board.
Replace the indoor electronic
control P.C. board.

Rectify the wiring.
After 3 minutes that power supply has
been turned on, does the compressor
start operating?
When OPERATION INDICATOR lamp flashes ON and OFF in every 0.5-second.
Outdoor unit doesn’t operate.
