WIRE VERSION IR BARRIER
BLACK VERSION – MAXIMUM RANGE 15 METRES
WHITE VERSION – MAXIMUM RANGE 3,5 METRES
Installation and Use Manual – English
1. Detach the caps and remove the extruded cover.
2. Drill both ends of the aluminium profile and fix it to the wall. Additional holes may be required for longer
barriers. Once the aluminium profile and/or the upper and lower plugging caps have been drilled, we
recommend sealing the holes with silicone sealant
3. CONNECTIONS: Use shielded cables and connect one extremity of the shield to the mains
grounding system and the other extremity to the negative logic of the power supply of the barrier
RX 12Vcc+ (GND-). If the system masses are not equipotential, connect the shield only on the central
side.In addition to the standard connections for the power supply, tamper function and alarm contact, it is
also necessary to connect the Winner TX transmitter to the Winner RX receiver using the two
synchronism wires called +Sinc TX and –Sinc RX (connect +Sinc TX to +Sinc RX and –Sinc TX to –
Sinc RX).
4. Power the system with 13.8 Vdc and verify that the LEDs Led SYNC on both the Winner TX and Winner
RX circuits start to flash. Otherwise, check that the synchronism wires have been correctly connected.
5. Place the jumper in position OR and test the barrier by individually obstructing the adjacent pairs of LEDs
that form the beam. Verify that Led ALARM switches on.
6. After completing the test, program the desired operating mode, OR / AND (FAST, for indoor
installations only) and close the barriers.
• Energy consumption of the TX and RX motherboards: 40 mA
• Energy consumption of the additional TX and RX modules: 8 mA
• Protection class: IP54
• Triggering time: 50 or 500 msec (alarm period about 2 sec)
• Operating mode: AND - OR
• N.C. alarm contact: 0.5 A 30 VDC, 0.25 A 60 VDC
WARNINGS:
•
Power the device using the 13.8 Vdc stabilised voltage only (Winner work from 11.5V to 15V,
but we suggest not less than 12 V, best 13.8V)
•
Install the additional modules in the correct direction (as shown in the following figure).
•
Do not insert the additional RX modules into the TX barrier and the additional TX modules into
the RX barrier.
•
Avoid routing the connection cables in raceways where power leads are present.
•
Do not install outdoors, in the open air, without a suitable covering.
•
MITECH shall not answer for any barrier damage and/or malfunction caused by incorrect
installation and/or improper use of same.
