Wipe the exterior of the Kettle with a soft,
damp cloth or sponge.
•
Remove stubborn spots with a cloth
moistened with mild detergent.
DO NOT PUT DETERGENTS OR CLEANING
AGENTS IN THE KETTLE.
Removing Calcium Deposits
In order to maintain performance of your Kettle,
it is important to remove deposits that build up
inside the Kettle. To decalcify your Kettle, follow
these steps:
• Half fi ll the Kettle with ordinary tap water.
• Add 30ml (1 fl oz) of white vinegar to
the Kettle.
• Boil the mixture, and allow to stand for 30
minutes. Repeat this step two more times.
Note: In extreme cases this procedure may need
to be repeated.
• Empty the mixture and rinse well.
• To remove and clean the fi lter, open the
hinged lid and lift the fi lter vertically from its
location. The fi lter may be cleaned by gently
brushing under running water with a soft
bristled brush, or by soaking it in vinegar.
• To refi t the fi lter, slot it into the side wallguard
and press down fi rmly.
• If the fi lter is not fi tted correctly, the hinged lid
may not lock securely.
• Do not leave the Kettle in direct sunlight as
the quality of the fi nish may deteriorate.
