Precision Drive Unit
At the core of Pulse, there is a highly sophisticated and precision engineered
drive unit called AFR. This driver is the key to the versatility of Pulse. Unlike the
conventional drive units, the AFR delivers a power response which fills the room with
sound, no matter where you sit in relation to it. It doesn’t matter whether the Pulse
speakers are on your desk, on a shelf above your desk or even on the floor, Pulse will
be always deliver the crisp, clear music and effects.
This single drive unit delivers all the sound that you need across an amazing span of
over seven octaves. No crossover, no splitting of the frequency range across multiple
drivers, nothing to spoil a seamless performance that sounds so natural, crisp and
even. You won’t believe computer speakers could sound so good.
What about bass? Two ABRs (Auxiliary Bass Radiators) lie beneath the aluminum
finish side panels of Pulse and they augment the low frequency response without
any of the chuffing, whistling or distortion that are usually present with open ports.
It’s just part of the attention to detail that Mission engineers put into every Mission
product as standard.
