BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Before connecting the unit to the mains, make sure that the voltage of the appliance specified on the box, corresponds to the
voltage of your network.
• Remove the inner container and the steamer, wash and wipe them with a dry soft cloth.
• Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not wash the body and the lid with water, nor immerse them into water.
• To prevent the damage of non-stick coating of the inner container, do not use the brush and other hard metal objects while
cleaning its inner surface.
• Install the unit on a flat, dry surface far from its edge. Do not put the unit on the floor. While the multicooker warms up and
sometimes while cooking the steam can escape from the pin. It is a normal phenomenon. Do not put the multicooker directly
under the shelves or other furniture units during its operation.
PRE-THERMAL TREATMENT OF MEAT
Before cooking meat in the multicooker, it must be treated thermally. It is recommended to fry meat slightly in a frying pan
or bake it in a pot with a small amount of oil (make sure that it is fried outside, but inside it remains raw). Such a pre-thermal
treatment helps to keep meat juicy and flavorful.
COOKING
• Press the button on the multicooker cover lid to open it.
• Take the inner container out, put the ingredients in it and add some water.
Do not fill the container more than 4/5 of its volume.
Attention!
The inside surface of the inner container has a conventional scale for grains and water: the scale on the right marks
the number of cups for grain, the scale on the left marks liters of water. The maximum amount of grain to be cooked is 8 cups, of
liquid is 1.5 liters.
• Put the container into multicooker, checking if its outer surface is clean and dry.
• Slightly turn the container so it to be fixed steady on the heating surface.
• Close the lid. You will hear a click when the lid is fixed.
• Plug the appliance in. The red indicator light will appear next to "RICE" program and "0000" indication will be displayed.
• Use the menu to select the program of cooking suitable for the dish.
• Once the red indicator appears next to the desired program, and the default cooking time is displayed click on “START” button
to start cooking. You can adjust the cooking time depending on the program selected.
• The countdown will not be displayed. After a few seconds the program will start and "00" indication will be blinking on the
display.
• Cooking time can be adjusted from 10 to 99 minutes in 1 minute intervals depending on the program selected.
CONTROL PANEL
1. "OFF/WARM" button – to turn on/off the function of keeping the dish warm and to cancel the selected settings and programs.
2. "START" button – in Time and Cooking modes set the program and press Start button. The red indicator light will turn on next
to the program selected and the multicooker will start cooking in the set mode.
3. "MENU" button
Press MENU button to select the automatic program (RICE, STEAM, PORRIDGE, SOUP, YOGURT, FRY, STEW, CAKE).
4. "MODE/TEMP" button
This button is used to select the cooking mode or the temperature mode in the selected program.
5. "COOKING TIME" button is used to set the time.
6. "HOUR" button is used to increase the cooking time (in minutes).
7. "MINUTES" button is used to reduce the cooking time (in minutes).
8. "PRESET TIME" button is used to delay the start.
PROGRAMS
RICE
"RICE" program is intended for cooking rice and pilaf.
• Fill the inner container with some water and rice.• Put the inner container into the multicooker. Close the lid (you will hear a click).
• Connect the multicooker to the mains. To avoid its damage finish all preparation steps, and then connect it to the mains.
• After switching the unit on next to "RICE" program red indicator light will turn on and "0055" indication will be displayed. For this
program the cooking time and the temperature based on the grain weight will be determined by the multicooker. Cooking 1 cup of
rice will take about 20 minutes. Maximum cooking time is 55 minutes.
• Click on "START" button. After a few seconds the program will start. The countdown will not be displayed.
• After the cooking process is finished a signal will sound and the multicooker will switch to keeping warm mode automatically. "b"
indication will be displayed. In order to turn off keeping warm function press "OFF/WARM" button.
• Unplug the multicooker from the socket.
