3. Install the communication converter.

3.3.2 Memory Expansion Card (OBS-ACC-32K128)
Connect the memory expansion cards to the I2C connector shown in Figure 4.
3.4 Voltage Input Selection Jumper
The OpenBAS-HV-NX4AO can be powered by either 24 VAC/VDC or 12 VDC, but it has only
one input terminal, which is labeled
24V .
The voltage input selection jumper (shown in Figure 4) determines whether the OpenBAS-HV-
NX4AO accepts 24 V or 12 V. By default the jumper is set to 24V.
Note: When connecting the I2C ports on 2 devices, make sure to connect pin 1 on the
first device to pin 1 on the second device. Pin 1 is marked by a dot or a “1”.
Attention: Do not connect the OpenBAS-HV-RF433R to the OpenBAS-HV-NX4AO.
Attention: Do not connect 24 V to the controller when the voltage input selection
jumper is set to 12 VDC.
To prevent damage to the controller, do not connect 24 V to the
controller when the voltage input selection jumper is set to 12 VDC.
