Electromagnetic Interference

Powered vehicles such as the Platinum 8000 Wheelchair may be susceptible to electromagnetic
interference, which is interfering electromagnetic energy emitted from sources such as radio
station, TV station, amateur (two way) radio transmitters, two-way radios, and cellular phones.

The interference (from radio wave sources) can cause the Platinum 8000 Wheelchair to release its
brakes, move by itself, or move in unintended directions.

If your wheelchairs experiences sudden movement due to electromagnetic interference turn off
the electric wheelchair power until it is safe to resume use.

It is recommended that you turn off mobile devices to limit the
change of electromagnetic interference while driving your wheelchair.
