MEDIA JAM

Duplex jams occur in the
duplex area. Locate and remove the jam. Open and
close the front door to reset the printer.
Feed jams occur between
the media tray and the print
engine.
Fuser jams occur in the
fuser area.
Registration jams occur
near the
registration rollers under-
neath the imaging unit.
MEDIA TYPE
MISMATCH
The media detected in the
tray doesn’t match the
media size setting. Change the media in the tray or
change the media size setting.
MISMATCH JAM
A
MISMATCH JAM
may
occur if the transparency
sensor in the printer detects
the wrong media type.
Locate and remove the jam from the
media tray or chute assembly inside
the tray compartment. Open and close
the front door to reset the printer.

The fill limit on the output
bin has been reached. Remove the media from the output bin.
