Turning On the Printer

■

After connecting the printer to a power outlet, press the power switch to turn it on.

When the printer is turned on, both indicators on the control panel to light up, and then
the Error indicator goes off while the Ready indicator stays on. After about 23 seconds,
the printer is finished warming up and is ready to begin printing.

Note

•

The printer automatically enters a power saving mode after about 15 minutes in
which it does not receive a print command from the computer. Whenever the
printer receives a print command while in the power saving mode, it will automati-
cally start to warm up before printing.
