6) Put both hands on the handlebars with-
out pressing the brake lever, SLOWLY
rotate the accelerator handle on the
driver’s right side (Fig 20). The ATV should
move forward. The more you rotate the
handle, the faster the ATV will go.
7) To stop, pull the brake lever on the
handle to the driver’s left side (Fig 21).
Reversing the vehicle
If you need to re verse the vehicle for an y
reason, go to a COMPLETE STOP first.
Next, move the FWD/REV switch to the
“REV” position. Rotate the accelerator
slowly and the vehicle will begin to move
backward. [NOTE: Reverse speed is limit-
ed to a fe w miles per hour. You cannot
run at top speed in reverse.] When fin-
ished reversing, go to another COMPLETE
STOP and move the switch to the FWD
position for forward motion.
TIP: You do not need to let off of the
accelerator when you press on the brake.
The power to the motor is automatically
cut off when the brake pedal is pressed.
This will help you conserve power and
speed when driving.
BE CAREFUL:
The Minimoto ATV™ can
reach speeds up to 14 MPH on a level sur-
face (depending on the surface terrain and
the weight of the rider).
SPECIAL SAFETY WARNINGS
1) When accelerating please ensure that
you start slowly & precisely.
2) The brake is designed to control speed
as well as stop the vehicle. Practice brak-
ing for slow-down and smooth stopping .
3) Never operate the accelerator handle
when the rear wheels are off the ground or
the ATV in an upside down position.
4) Do not attempt to make shar p turns.
The Minimoto™ ATV is not designed to do
high speed cornerings. Attempting to do
so may result in serious injur y.
