3. Press hold [
] for 3 seconds to select English, German, French, Spanish,
Italian, Russian or the mute function.
You will hear a beep while a reading is being taken if the unit is in talking
mode.
4. When the TALK function is enabled, the
[ ] icon is displayed. If it is
disabled, the [
] icon will be off. The default TALK function is enabled.
5. Press [ ] and [
] key to retrieve the recorded temperature; press the
[ ] and [
] key for approximately 3 seconds to enter the set up mode, the
time, date and LCD state (on or off) can be reset.
