The miniDSP nanoSHARC accepts stereo PCM audio at sample rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, and 192 kHz on
its USB audio input. The same USB connector is used both for streaming audio and configuration.

Open the program
Audio MIDI Setup
(in
Applications
->
Utilities
). The nanoSHARC will in the list on the left hand
side. Clicking on it will show the input and output channels. Sample rate and number of bits (16 or 24) can be
selected in the dropdown menus:
To set the nanoSHARC as the default audio output device, right-
click and select “Use this device for sound
output”.
