Operating Instructions
1. Description of indicators:
a.
Yellow indicator: Power (charging) / Data transfer when connected to the PC via USB
b.
Blue indicator: Video mode or picture taking mode
2. Description of Mode Switch:
*
when it is moved to the MAX direction as marked, DVR will go into video recording mode.
*
when it is moved to the MIN direction as marked, DVR will go into picture taking mode.

*Video Recording:
Move the “Mode switch” to MAX for video, press “MFB” key for approximately 4 seconds, the Blue
indicators will come on after the DVR finishes initialization. (For initialization, it needs different times for different
capacities, it needs 3~20seconds for 2~16GB.) After the initialization completes, the yellow indicator will turn off, the
Blue indicator will turn on and you can start recording video now (press “MFB” key again). the Blue indicator will slowly
Flash while the DVR is recording. Briefly press the button in the recording state to pause recording and save the video file.
Each time you start and stop recording, it will generate a new video file.
*Take Pictures:
Move “Mode switch” set to Photo, press “MFB” key for approximately 4 seconds to activate, the yellow
indicators will turn off after the DVR finishes initialization. Now, you can start to take pictures, the blue indicator will
flash one time when you press “MFB” key every time.
** If it is in video recording mode, you can pause it, and switch to “picture” mode directly.
** If it is in pictures mode, you can switch to “video” mode directly .
*PC camera function:
you can chat via the Clip DVR with your friends by following these steps:
a.
While off, connect the USB cable to the Clip DVR
，
hold down the MFB key and connect the other end of the USB to the
PC within 4seconds, don’t release MFB key before your PC has "found new hardware".
b.
Install hardware ,you can find driver files on the included software disc.
c.
you will find a “SK camera” icon in “my computer”, now, you can start to use it.
Note:
If yellow indicators flash for about six seconds then turn off automatically please check the memory, if the memory is
full please erase some files from the device, otherwise, please charge it.
4. Turn off: Hold down the MFB key in any state to turn off, all indicators will turn off.
5. Connect with computer:
a. Put in USB when it is off. Then the computer should automatically detect the USB device, when you unhook the device,
you use the safely remove hardware manager on your start bar.
Note
: It will take a little longer time for the computer to identify the USB Disc according to the computer configuration please
wait patiently and do not press any buttons during this time so as not to interfere with the computer identifying the device. If
the device cannot be identified after a long period of time, please try to reconnect the device again. If the device cannot be
