Rating Description
G (General Audiences) – All ages admitted.
PG (Parental Guidance Suggested) – Some material may not be suitable for
children.
PG-13 (Parents Strongly Cautioned) – Some material may be inappropriate for
children under 13.
R (Restricted) – Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.
NC-17 (Adults Only) – No one 17 and under admitted.
AO (Adults Only) – Ages 18 and over.

XX Adult content tagged as XX .

Rating Description
TV-Y This program is designed to be appropriate for all children.
TV-Y7 This program is designed for children age 7 and above.
TV-G Most parents would find this program suitable for all ages.
TV-PG This program contains material that parents may find unsuitable for younger

TV-14 This program contains some material that many parents would find
unsuitable for children under 14 years of age.
TV-MA This program is specifically designed to be viewed by adults and therefore
may be unsuitable for children under 17.
