Connection Panel:

1.

The refresh button will repopulate the drop down menu with the currently available serial ports

2.

To connect, select the appropriate serial port in the drop down and press connect.

3.

When a connection has been established, the “Connect” button will change to say

“Disconnect”

Terminal:

•

The terminal will display status updates of the communication messages.

•

If the dash is forced to give up on a message it will inform you which message did not make it

to the robot.

•

Malformed or misunderstood messages coming from the robot are signs of a failing connection

but not themselves cause for worry.
