Setting Hi /Lo Temperature Alerts:
Select the channel you wish to program (1, 2, or 3). Press top of large silver button.
Press and release “Alert” button (bottom of large silver button)
High & Low icon appears to right of Out Temperature
Press & Hold the Alert button for 2 seconds.
“Δ” high temperature icon will flash - press “down” or “up” until the desired “high” temperature is
reached
Press “Alert” again and “ “ low temperature icon will flash → press “down” or “up” until desired
temperature is reached
Press “Alert” to confirm – both high and low Icons will be “ “ visible indicating the Temperature
Alert System is active.
To De-activate press and release “Alert”. Press again to reactivate (temperature levels will remain in
memory).
NOTE: All three (3) channels may be programmed with High Low Alerts. The system will constantly
monitor all three (3) channels

Min/Max Record:

Press Min/Max button (left side of large silver button) to display Maximum Temperature and
Humidity for indoor and remote channel since last cleared. Within five (5) seconds, press again
to display the minimum numbers.

Press and Hold for two (2) seconds to clear temperature and humidity records
CONGRATULATIONS! You are ready to enjoy your new TempMinder®. Don’t lose these instructions. You’ll
need them again when you replace batteries. You’ll also need the rest when you want to set temperature or time
alarms or study the history of the unit.
Some Brief Trouble-Shooting notes:
To switch from 24 hour clock, press and hold the “up” button for 2 seconds. We suggest that you
do this after noon as you will see a tiny “PM” icon on the screen.
IF: the display on the main unit becomes hard to read
, replace the batteries. Good Alkaline batteries
will last for 6 to 10 months in the receiver and 10 to 14 months in the transmitter. Lithiums will last 3 to
4 times longer.
IF: you lose the signal from the remote transmitter.

If your TempMinder has been function for 6 months or longer, you will likely resolve the problem by
replacing the batteries. Replace the batteries in the transmitter and then in the receiver.
