Section 7.Application Notes

For a Forward/Reverse switch, use a single-pole, two-position switch 

with a single speed adjust potentiometer to regeneratively reverse the 

motor (Figure 15). If a Forward/Stop/Reverse switch is desired, use a 

single-pole, three-position switch (Figure 16). The MIN SPD setting is in 

effect for either direction.
