EARBUDS AND TUBES

Open Style

Suitable for noticeable and moderate hearing

loss. It has openings for sound to pass through

from outside of the hearing aid. It can sound

more natural for some people but feedback may

occur when the volume is turned to upper level.

Closed Style

Suitable for severe hearing loss. It’s meant to

reduce the sound from outside the hearing aid.

Feedback may not occur when the volume is

turned to upper level but some people with

small/narrow ear canal may feel a little bit stuffy.
