Maintenance

Wipe away the cleaning liquid attached
to the roller shaft with a paper towel.

• Gently press a paper towel on to the roller shaft and slowly

rotate the roller shaft with your fingers.

• Wipe away the cleaning liquid until the rubber parts do not

have a glossy appearance. If they do have a glossy appear-
ance, elements of cleaning liquid remain.

• Take care so as not to forcibly press down on the roller shaft.
• Repeat steps 2 to 4 when there are multiple areas that

require cleaning.

Cleaning the Origin mark sensor

The buildup of dust and other particles in the origin mark sensor can cause the erroneous detection of the origin
mark.
Remove any dust, etc. that has built up on the surface of the sensor with a cotton swab.

Press down with a paper

Parts with a glossy appearance still have
elements of cleaning liquid.
