Remove a spent battery immediately from the device. There is
an increased danger of leaks!
If the above instructions are not complied with, the batteries
may discharge themselves beyond their end voltage. There is
then a danger of leaking. If the batteries have leaked inside
your device, you should remove them immediately in order to
prevent damage to the device!
Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste!
Every consumer is obliged to dispose of batteries properly in
accordance with the regulations!
Keep batteries away from children. Do not throw batteries into
a fire. Never short-circuit them or take them apart.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Any parts of the body coming into contact with battery acid
should be rinsed off with copious amounts of water and / or a
doctor contacted if necessary!
The batteries may explode if they have been
improperly replaced. Ensure that only batteries of the same
type are used.
Inserting / replacing batteries
To do this, proceed as shown in Fig. B.
Operation

Set up the device at ground level on a dry surface in close
proximity to you. Do not set up the device in draughty places.
Otherwise, the insects will not remain on the device.

Any insects that now fly into the high-voltage grille will be killed.
Switch the device off (position

Remove the dead insects by tilting the device and shaking lightly.
