7-1. Replacing The Liner

Turn Off wire feeder and
welding power source.
1 Thumb Screw
2 Cone Guide
3 Collet Guide
4 Brass Guide Cap
Unscrew thumb screw.
Remove the following items:
S
Liner conduit assembly from
handle.
S
Cone guide (rear of torch) and col-
let guide.
S
Brass guide cap from conduit as-
sembly.
S
Old liner − pull from front of torch/
conduit.
Insert new liner in same direction as
one removed (knurled ring towards
front).
Tighten Brass guide cap onto con-
duit.
Torque collet guide to 50 in. lbs.
Cut liner flush with front surface of
collet guide.
Reinstall guide cone, conduit and
thumb screw.
