GFCI provides ground fault protec-
tion for the input power connection.
If a ground fault is detected, GFCI
RESET button pops out and the unit
will not function. Press button to
reset.
To Test the GFCI:
Prepare machine for normal cut-
ting. Push the TEST button. Unit
lights and fan should remain on. Air
should go on with trigger pull.

If a pilot arc ignites, DO NOT
USE YOUR EQUIPMENT. Un-
plug equipment or turn Off
power at generator. Consult
a qualified electrician.
If the GFCI tests okay, restore
power by pushing the RESET but-
ton and releasing it. The pilot arc
should work as usual. If the GFCI
fails to reset properly, DO NOT
USE YOUR EQUIPMENT. Unplug
equipment or turn Off power at
generator. Consult a qualified elec-
trician.
If the GFCI trips by itself at anytime
during use, reset the GFCI and test
it as explained above. If the GFCI
fails to reset properly, DO NOT
USE THE EQUIPMENT. Unplug
equipment or turn Off power at
generator. Consult a qualified elec-
trician.

Press button to reset circuit breaker. If the GFCI opens, check
power cord for damage. If the GFCI continues to open, contact
a Factory Authorized Service Agent.
