Installing Gas Supply

Tipping equipment can

not exceed maximum cylin-
der weight, diameter, and/or
height for this cylinder rack.

Strap
Obtain gas cylinder and use strap
to secure to cylinder rack so
cylinder cannot fall and break off
valve.

Cap

Cylinder Valve
Remove cap, stand to side of valve,
and open valve slightly. Gas flow
blows dust and dirt from valve.
Close valve.

Regulator/Flowmeter
Install so face is vertical.

Regulator/Flowmeter Gas
Hose Connection

Welding Power Source Gas
Hose Connection
Connect supplied gas hose to
regulator/flowmeter gas hose con-
nection.

Flow Adjust
Typical flow rate is 20 cfh (cubic
feet per hour). Check wire
manufacturer’s recommended flow
rate.
